Heroes Con 2017 Art Haul

Another convention is in the books, and it was EPIC. For the third time in four years, David and I headed to Charlotte for Heroes Con. This time we were joined by our partner-in-crime, Vince, and as a result we road tripped from Pennsylvania. 12+ hours of glorious driving adventures full of laughs, shenanigans and comic talk. For those interested in our road show hijinks, you can access a ton of video and audio content on our Patreon site.

As most of you know, I love collecting comic art. That’s one of the reasons Heroes Con has become my favorite show of the year. Shelton Drum, Rico Renzi and the crew put together a show that’s 100% in celebration of comics, creators and artwork. No celebrities, no video games, no toy companies. Just art and comics.

This year was arguably my most successful in terms of acquiring KICK ASS artwork. It was a haul to remember, and I wanted to share it with you all. Enjoy!

Some amazing art- especially the Jam pieces. I particularly like the Young Avengers piece and they are not my favorite. I think Dodson’s Domino is my favorite and closest to how I see the character, but I will say that none in this haul seem to get her face ‘quite’ right?
