Danny left Kun Lun when he did b/c that’s when the portal was open. He says that he was trying to find a way back for years- he achieves the Iron Fist and the way becomes clear Then. He is supposed to go- that is his path. He is supposed to be of two worlds that’s the point of the character in the comics and the show. I think you all have been way too hard on this show. I will agree there are problems more than a few but I found it to have have more overall enjoyment factor than anything so far other than first season of DD.

It’s great that you think it’s the second-best Marvel show from Netflix. It may get better for me as I finish the season, but for me, while there are things about it I like, it’s not better than Jessica Jones.

I’m not going to shrug and simply accept what they’re giving us just because something is better than nothing. It still has to be good. And there are inconsistencies that are preventing that from happening. There are some things I’m a bit more critical of than others. It’s not iZombie where I may not be paying attention to everything. Iron Fist means a little more to me.

Once it’s done I’ll judge it as a whole.

Great show, as always. Gonna miss you, Mr. Wrightson. Regarding Iron Fist, I quite enjoyed it. Not Daredevil level, obviously, but the kung fu action scenes were riveting (when he wasn’t drugged out of his mind or mired in self-doubt – seems like these 2 things are Danny’s kryptonite). But I get what you guys are saying; you expected more, or something different. I guess my lack of expectations made this a winner for me
